Designed as the final monograph of AA Asia this book reprises some of the significant and memorable articles culled from the past monographs, bringing back some of the themes that have been central to the investigations of A A Asia – including Asian Contemporary Vernacular, pluralistic experiences of Centre and Periphery, and undertaking of Spiritual Journeys, with new contributions from its members, reflecting and reminiscing the heartfelt memories and camaradie of the trips. A book that is decidedly driven by its text – a departure from the past monographs that are filled with pictures – as the visual memories must have been imprinted in the minds of the members who have shared such intimate moments as being naked in a Japanese onsen together and trudging through India on a Yatra, and other unforgettable adventures.
