Conceptual Masterplan for a resort city on the north shore of Kariba Lake

The site stretches along the north shore of the Kariba Lake some 10 – 16 km east of the old town of Kariba. Initial development will be along approximately six km of the northern shoreline, east of the Crocodile Farm and the Nyanyana Camp and extending to Vundu Vey Island in Charara Bay. The site also includes three islands to the south of the north shoreline namely Zebra Island that is approximately 2km long from east to west x 1km from north to south rising to 500m AMSL; Antelope Island that is approximately 5km long from east to west x 1km from north to south rising to 546m AMSL; and Radcliffe Island that is approximately 1km long and 500metres from north to south. Radcliffe Island is the site of a lighthouse.
